What changes should be done in cloudflare account when hosting provider changed .?

In this post i will describe about cloudflare account when web hosting provider changed to new one. Because off Many new bloggers are confused about it that what cloudflare changes should do after moving to new web hosting .

First of all you should completely Migrate/clone your website data to new host. Like update Mysql db file and public_html files. to know how to migrate a website follow my post billow

After complete migration of your website, you should normally update your nameservers. into DNS setting of your hosting provider website. But if you already activated cloudflare into your account, You should not change the nameservers. Because of if you change nameserver you will be out of cloudflare security .

After changing a hosting provider just update ip addresses into cloudflare DNS settings .

To make changes into DNS setting follow these steps .
  1. Go to https://dash.cloudflare.com/login and login here
  2.  Check for your website name and click on it
  3.  Go to DNS settings and change ip to new one

Follow picture for detail cloudflare setting

No need to touch anything else. You will now automatically  connected to new hosting provider via cloudflare server .

To find ip address of your hosting account. Go to your hosting providers website. Login here .

Click on manage your hosting. here you will find your ip information . Just copy and paste this ip  address into cloudflare .
